Magnetostat Se set new reference point for the line stage device made by NAT as transformer coupled pure triode class A with absolute zero feedback circuit. Special military grade type 6S46G-V (tiny unique tube with lowest internal impendance) output tubes are used.
Hand coiled wide-bandwidth output transformer (custom designed by NAT ) is used in this unit.
Open bandwidth of output transformer is from 4Hz – 500.000Hz. That is extremely excellent for high direct current single ended transformer coupled operation mode. Even the square wave response is near perfect that indicate high quality amplification. Output has separate selectable tap for single ended and balanced operation!
Magnetostat Se represent two totally independent preamplifier in the same chassis first as balanced and second as single-ended type of operation!
Internal construction of tiny special tube 6S46G-V is very unique - as the lowest internal impedance triode as possible.
Hand coiled is used in Magnetostat Se with silver-ofc PTFE (teflon) type isolated wire on wide-bandwidth nano-crystalline core output transformer.
Output transformer has separate configuration for single ended sa well as balanced operation!
Magnetostat Se as absolute zero feedback device represent the best solution for the purity of sound reproduction. There is no any capacitor on direct signal path.
Attenuation is based on 56pcs. of high reliability double microprocessor controlled relay (with pure silver, gold plated contacts) network with 96 different level of attenuation! Only a single laboratory grade resistor per phase is on the signal path at any attenuator level.
Magnetostat Se is equipped with hand assembled remote unit - made from laminate combination of different material.
High capacity - long live battery supply is used as the best solution for the power to supply Magnetostat Se. Even the entire tubes filament supply is realised with battery (as well as main HV)!
Sound quality of Magnetostat Se is totally independent from line voltage fluctation as well as influence of "rf pollution" that could be coupled across.
Separate transformer-conditioner unit act as power supply for digital and control circuit only.
Quality of electronic material that is used inside Magnetostat Se are at high level - tubes by military and N.O.S. grade, 0.1% Vishay resistors, nano-crystalline transformer core, silver-ofc teflon (PTFE) type of wire for the output transformer, audiophile grade high capacity electrolytic capacitors, gold plated teflon (PTFE) isolated connectors, silver-ofc input wiring…
